Frankfort, KY – The Global Directory of Who’s Who is honored to recognize Cindy Murray, MBA, CMA, for her outstanding achievements in finance, insurance, and business leadership.
Ms. Murray earned both her Master of Business Administration (MBA) and Bachelor of Science (BS) from Morehead State University, establishing a strong foundation for her career in financial management and insurance. She was the Executive Director of the Office of Policy and Budget, Cabinet for Health and Family Services. She also helped oversee this Cabinet’s budget for 25 years with the Kentucky Legislature. Ms. Murray has demonstrated exceptional leadership in financial governance.
Currently, Ms. Murray is the owner and insurance agent of The Murray Group, where she specializes in life annuities, Medicare, auto, and various insurance services. Her expertise has earned her the Vista Insurance 2025 Circle of Excellence Award, as well as recognition in Insite Success for being a Top, Impactful, and Unstoppable Personality.
A dedicated advocate for community initiatives, Ms. Murray helped start with the Kentucky Children's Health Insurance Program (KCHIP) and is actively involved with the American Saddlebred Horse and breeders Association, reflecting her passion for both healthcare and equestrian excellence. She has also been featured on the front pages of two business magazines, further solidifying her status as a leading professional in her industry.
Beyond her career, Ms. Murray enjoys showing and riding horses, particularly Saddlebred horses. She is happily married and a proud mother of one son and one daughter.
